Well, Halloween was a bit different for us this year. Normally, it is one of my favorite holiday’s and I love decorating for it, but this year, between trying to finish the basement, get ready for the baby, and being 8 months pregnant (that probably being one of main reasons
) no decorations made it up
! I tried to be so prepared and find Mason’s costume early but last Monday there I was running around trying to find one lol! He ended up being a lion and it really did turn out to be very cute. I painted his face with a black nose and whiskers. He didn’t really mind me doing it and actually thought it was a little funny…then I had the bright idea to have Jer show him what he looked like in the mirror!
Before
After the mirror!
Roaring like a lion when we got him all dressed up! At this point, being outside and carrying his pumpkin, the make-up incident was forgotten!
These are few more of him trick or treating! He quickly figured out that saying "Trick or Treat" got him a piece of candy! He even got a little irritated when no one answered the door at one house!
These last few are some of our neighorhood. The first one is our little neighbor Chloe, she was a fortune teller and to get a treat you had go in the house and get your fortune told! She really knew what she was doing too, because she said "within the month, your family will have a happy experience!!" I guess that means the baby is coming in November!!
LOL! Our neighborhood really is awesome and there are some great people who live here. We are so blessed to be a part of it.
