More cute pictures of McKinley and updates on the kids!

Here are some more way cute pictures of McKinley! (and my mom in some of them :P  )  My mom is such a good sport.  She came up here to go shopping with me and after a long day of shopping, we come back to the house to rest and Jeremy asks her to let him take pictures of her so he can test out his new backdrop!  I wouldn’t do it for him for very long so then he talked my mom into it!  Well of course we had to throw one of the kids in there too, and as usual, some great pictures came out of it!  My dad got her this cute little hat she’s wearing for Christmas!  Needless to say, he was not very pleased when the pictures were not of him and her!! LOL

I love this one with her hand on her face…what a little model already!!

She’s a great bubble blower too!  These next ones are of her first time to Church!!  I know, I know, she’s almost 3 months old, but all I could think about was everyone wanting to touch and hold her lol!  Then she did the usual and slept through the whole thing anyway!!  But, she just looked so adorable in her little dress that we had to take some pictures!

You will notice in all these pictures, she’s hardly ever not smiling.  She is such a happy baby and all it takes is a glance at her and she just grins away! Since we are a few days away from her being 3 months old, I’ll just do a little update on her.  Like I just said, she is extremely happy all the time.  The only time she ever really cries is when she is hungry.  She still loves to be held, but is getting lots better at just sitting in her little bouncer and watching the fish go by!  She still is an amazing sleeper, almost always sleeping through the night (6-8 hours) and then taking a few long naps during the day along with several cat naps!  She loves watching everything around her, as long as she’s sitting up! No laying down for this girl, she needs to be up where she can see everything!  She is "talking" all the time and even "talking" to herself when no one is looking at her.  We can already tell she’s going to be a chatter box! She loves her Mommy very much and when I’m around at all and someone else is holding her, she starts to fuss a little until I take her!  If she can’t see or hear me, she is usually just fine.  Or if the person that’s holding her is talking to her, then she could care less where I was! LOL

A little bit on Mason, he is potty trained!!  There a still a few little "issues" we are working out, but he has done amazingly well.  We did the 3 day method and on the second day, he only had 1 accident.  We were pleasantly surprised how quickly he took to it!  He is still just as rambuncious as ever! I took a parenting class called Parenting with Love and Logic and it seems to be working.  He even sent himself to his room one day when he was starting to act up and I asked him if he needed to go to his room.  He just looked at me and said "Yes" and proceeded to march upstairs.  I followed him to see what he was going to do and he asked me to turn his light on, then shut the door!  He stayed up there for about 15 minutes then came down, said he was sorry, and gave me a hug!!  It was pretty funny!  He also doesn’t fight us to go to bed anymore because he knows if he does he doesn’t get stories read to him, which is one of his favorite things to do!  He’s pretty much a really good kid, but the winter was hard on him, not being able to go outside and burn some of his endless energy!  Anyway, that’s all for now, I can’t believe we don’t have pictures of him to put up here!!

Just for the Boys!

I haven’t really shown too much of my digital scrapbooking stuff on here, but I just started designing my own kits and am releasing my first one today!  It’s called Just for the Boys. So I thought I’d post it on here so everyone could see what I’ve been up to.  I’m on the Creative Team of a good friend of mine (her name is Nicole) and she has helped me a ton!  I got on her creative team when we didn’t know each other and then found out we live pretty close to each other!  So we chat a lot during the day, have gone to dinner, and are taking a parenting class!  So I really have to thank her for all the help she’s given me!!  Anyway, here is the preview of my kit!  I based it off the Mason’s room, so I had to make a layout with pictures in his room of course! :P

Then, here is a layout I made and then one Nicole made.  She is helping me promote it by posting it on her blog which gets TONS of hits every day! Her posting it will increase my downloads a lot!  Awesome huh!

If you want my kit click here http://www.gettinscrappywithbritt.com/ to download it!  I also have a lot of layouts there so there’s lots more pictures of the kids to look at! :)   Nicole has some great stuff at her blog too, so if you want to check it out click here http://digi-designs.blogspot.com/

Mason’s friend Ruby Pruitt had a Princess Party for her birthday! She was gracious enough to invite Mason to come even though he would not be dressing up like a princess!  It was pretty cute seeing all those pretty girls dressed up so pretty!  Jeremy got some very cute pictures of them and thought we’d post a few of them here!

Cute new pics of the kids!

Ok, so anyone who knows me very well, knows that I’m not a girly girl.  I don’t like frilly things, fluffy things…all that girly stuff.  So when I learned I was having a girl, I was a little nervous because I don’t really like the color pink very well along with all the girly stuff.  Right away I said "Her room won’t be pink, she won’t wear those big fluffy, lacey dresses, and she won’t have extremely large flowers and bows on her head!"  So I preceeded to buy her little headbands with tiny flowers on them or sometimes just going without.  Then yesterday my mom and I went shopping with her and for the first time someone called my little girl a BOY! Nevermind the fact that she was dressed in green and pink and had a bright pink, purple, green and yellow blanket on her! Come on people!!  Therefore….some flowers came out!  Granted this isn’t a huge one, but it was really hard me to put it on her lol!!  But for her sake…I guess I have to do it.  I vowed to her that no one would call her a boy again…*sigh!

These next ones are ones Jer took before they left for Church.  They turned out so good and I think they look like he’s posing in a studio, but it’s just the front room!

This is a great one of Mason actually holding her!  He’s such a great big brother and a big helper to Mom and Dad!
