One very long post!

Wow, it has been a long time since we’ve posted anything!  Obviously we have been pretty busy, so this is going to be just one long post to try and catch everyone up!  First I’ll start with McKinley’s blessing!  It was a great day and Jeremy gave her a very sweet blessing!  My Grandma drove up from Kanab to be here and we had an AWESOME surprise, my Aunt Denise drove all the way from Pheonix to be here!!  She totally surprised us all!  It was so fun and thanks again sooo much for coming Aunt Denise!! And thanks to all our wonderful family members who came.  As fate would have it, I can only have a baby when we have 9 a.m. church so everyone had to get up real early to be here.  And to top it off, it was daylight savings so they had to even get up eariler than normal!  We are so lucky to have such a great family, we love you all!  And a very special thanks to my mom, there is no way we could have gotten through the weekend with out all her help.  Thank Mom, we love ya!!  Here’s a picture of McKinley looking gorgeous in her dress!

The next bit of news is that McKinley had to have surgery!  She was born with a skin tag on her neck and it was a little bit more complicated than the usual one so she had to have surgery to get it off.  We were pretty nervous because she had to be put out and she’s just so small…it was pretty scary.  But she did awesome!  It took her a long time to wake up, which they said might happen, but when she did wake up, she was just all smiles like usual.  We got some cute pictures of her in her hospital jammies (I wonder why kids get cute comfy jammies and adults have to wear stiff gowns with the back flapping open…hmm) before the surgery, when she was out, with her little IV in, and after she was awake!  You can’t even tell the before and after pictures apart!  She is healing wonderfully and handled the whole thing great!

Then she turned 4 months old!  Wow, I can’t believe it!  She is rolling over like crazy!  As soon as you lay her on the ground, she rolls right over.  She hasn’t quite figured out how to get back so after a little while, she starts getting mad until you roll her back over.  The usually she rolls right back over again, just to get mad again! LOL!  Kids!  She is still such and incredibly happy baby.  She hardly ever crys (only when she’s hungry) and loves to smile and laugh!  I’ve got to get a video of her laughing and put it up here, it really is so cute!  She also loves to jabber.  She is definitly getting some of her brother’s traits!  Mason talks non-stop, to us, to anybody around, to himself…in his sleep!  I don’t know where they get it!

Every year we help with the Delta Track Meet.  This year though, Jer took pictures of all the athletes so if anyone wanted them, they could buy them, then that money would be donated back to the track team.  He got some great pictures of some the runners and then this cute one of my dad and McKinley up in the booth!  It was pretty cold so she was tucked in his coat!

While we were at the track meet, Mason got to go play at Grandma and Grandpa Stowell’s house!  Well, while he was there, he got to meet some new baby cows and we’ve heard all about them ever since!  Since we weren’t there when he saw them, we had to stop by again on our way back home so we could get some pictures, hehe!  I think this is maybe the only time cows are cute!

The next item of business is JEREMY TURNED 30!!  Wow, he is old!! LOL, just kidding, Jer, I love ya!  His birthday is in the middle of week so he took the day off and we went to a movie with the kids, (Mason’s first movie!!) Monsters vs. Aliens!  It was pretty cute.  Mason did really good until about an hour into it then he had to wander up and down the row, hang on the banister, and lay on the floor (YUCK!), while he watched.  We were pretty impressed!  We haven’t dared take him to a movie yet because he’s soo loud and doesn’t sit still, lol, but he did pretty good!  We were the only ones in the theatre so that helped!  Then after the movie we took the kids over to our friends Joe and Heidi’s to play with their kids while we went out to dinner.  Then came home and watched another movie!  I have something else fun coming up for him but more on that later!

Finally to Easter!  We had a great Easter this year, we spent the weekend in Lynndyl.  Saturday morning, Mason went to the town’s Easter Egg Hunt and really had a good time running all over the place picking up eggs and candy.  I also got to see some of my friends, Suz and Erin, while we there, so that was really fun for me!  I got a picture with Suz, but Erin was already gone by then :( .

Then Roger, Jer, and I took Mason and Shana down to the farm to feed the cows!  Man, they had a great time watching the cows eat and playing in the hay!  They had a really good time playing together this weekend!

Then we went and had a picnic in the freezing cold rain!  It was supposed to be on Sunday but we had to get home early cause I had to go to work at 2, so they very nicely moved to Saturday, even though the weather was awful and Sunday was warm and bright!  Sunday morning we got up to find what the Easter Bunny had left the kids and they searched the house for even more eggs!  It was a great Easter!

Jeremy and two of our friends, Krystal and Bubba, all turned 30 this year, so we had one big party for all three of them!  We all met at a park by our house and ate, played some football, flew some kites, the kids played on the playground, and we had a great time!  We have some really fun friends and it doesn’t really matter what we are doing we always seem to have a good time!  Here’s a picture of all three of them blowing out their candles.  I think cause there was so many, the kids had to help out too! Hehehehe!

Ok, well that’s all for now…if you made it to the end of this post, thanks for reading it all!! :D
